5th ​​Hospital Week: Disseminating health in its commitment to citizenship (23/05/2017)

Psychology, NeuroRehabilitation, general assessment of health status, basic CPR workshop and even a healthy breakfast.

These are the activities with which Hospital de Molina has started its 5th Hospital Week.

A program of health information activities, with which the Hospital Center, in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura, celebrates its seventeenth anniversary.

Thus, this morning, in the space enabled in front of its main door, users of associations of older people have gone through the consultation of the psychologist of the Hospital de Molina, Mariola García Olcina, where they have received advice for an active and healthy aging.

They have also visited the Nursing consultation, where hospital personnel have tested blood pressure, glucose and, in collaboration with the laboratory of the hospital, blood group.

Users of the Molina de Segura Mental Health Association (AFESMO), the Murcia Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation (ISOL) and the Molina de Segura and Vega Media Disability Association (DISMO) visited the Service Of NeuroRehabilitación-UNER, where Dr. María Jesús Gómez López, responsible, has given them guidelines to improve some of the sequels they present and has solved the doubts raised, in order to improve their day-to-day life.

Students from the 3rd Primary School of Our Lady of Fatima (Molina de Segura) have received a basic CPR workshop and choking techniques taught by Nursing staff of the Hospital de Molina in collaboration with the Local Assembly of the Red Cross.

In its commitment to the promotion of healthy habits, Hospital de Molina has offered a healthy breakfast, supervised by its Nutritionist, Rebeca Pastor Valero, in collaboration with Panadería Moreno, Intercon, Mediterranean Catering and Pimentón La Pastora.

At the same time, and in the spirit of giving visibility to the social organizations with which the Hospital de Molina collaborates closely, ASPAPROS, ISOL, FEYCSA, AFESMO and the José Carreras Foundation against Leukemia have been present throughout the morning making their work known and The different activities they develop.
