This is a true story.

To this city come brigadistas coming from all the places of the world;

Including Käthe, a young woman fleeing Nazi Germany.

Thus begins a story that takes place between the front of Aragon, the troubled Barcelona of 1937 and a concentration camp, that of Albatera, to which are transferred from the port of Alicante, all the people who do not manage to leave for exile to End of the contest.

During the years of the War and those who, after the defeat, came later, there are moments of solidarity and friendship, of love and also of suffering.

But this story is above all a story of continuous overcoming among people condemned to live with the proximity of death.

It was the conviction that they were going to survive that which encouraged them to help each other endless day, so that the brutal repression did not defeat them.
