The Molina de Segura Youth Theater Show 2017, organized by the City of Molina, through the Department of Youth and the Villa de Molina Theater, will be held the week of 19 to 23 June, with the participation of six groups.
The initiative was presented at a press conference today, Tuesday May 2, by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, First Deputy Mayor and Youth Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, Councilor for Culture, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños , And the Director of the Villa de Molina Theater, José Antonio Avilés Moreno.
The aim of this exhibition is to promote and encourage the involvement of young people in one of the fields of artistic expression that generates more participation, such as theater.
To the call could be presented groups of theater of the educational centers of Secondary Education and amateur theater groups youths of Molina de Segura, whose members were between 12 and 26 years old.
Following the call, a total of six groups have been selected, which are as follows:
- A DOOR CLOSED, with the work Macbeth.
- THE BASTARDS OF SHAKESPEARE, with the work La casa de Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca.
- IES FRANCISCO DE GOYA, with the work Sancho of the insula of Alejandro Casona.
- COMPANY CARPE DIEM DEL LICEO FRENCH, with the work Ni rich and poor, but the opposite, by Miguel Miura.
- METAMORPHOSIS OF THE SALZILLO COLLEGE, with the work Hilvanando histias, fragments of the authors Shakespeare, Álvarez Quintero and Federico García Lorca.
- IES EDUARDO LINARES LUMERAS, Grupo de Artes Escénicas Inmarcesibles, with the work Historia de una escalera by Antonio Buero Vallejo.
As a public presentation of the show, the Teatro Villa de Molina (at Avenida del Chorrico, No. 10) has programmed the Maravilla representation in the country of miseries, by Átikus Teatro, on Wednesday, May 3, At 19.30 with free admission.
