The Piano Department of the Professional Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López de Molina de Segura organizes a Master Class of Piano, by Alexander Kandelaki, Piano Teacher of the Superior Music Conservatory of Badajoz, on Friday, 28 April, from 4 pm to 9 pm Saturday, April 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 30, from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the Maestro Jaime López Professional Conservatory of Music (Calle Capitán Cortés, S / n).
Alexander Kandelaki received his musical training at the Conservatoire Superior de Tbilisi (Georgia) with honors under the direction of Professors A. Nizharadze, T. Matureli, R. Khodjava and N. Kereselidze, all of whom are direct students of H. Neuhaus and A. Goldenveiser.
He has also been awarded a scholarship by the Isaac Albéniz Foundation to continue his studies at the Reina Sofía Higher School of Music (Madrid), being a student of D. Bashkirov, G. Eguiazarova and M. Gulyas.
Since 1998 he has been professor of piano at the Badajoz Conservatory of Music, occupying the place played by the great Spanish pianist Esteban Sánchez.
He also teaches Master in Solo Interpreting at the Katarina Gurska Superior Center in Madrid.
He frequently teaches master classes and teacher training courses and postgraduate courses in numerous higher conservatories, professionals and universities in Spain.
In January 2012 he was invited to give master classes at Hochschule fur Musik in Hannover (Germany).
Since August 2016 he is part of the teaching team at the Collegium Musicum summer academy at Weissenstein Castle in Pommersfelden (Germany).
He is a jury member in national and international contests, and has offered solo and Chamber Music recitals in the most important venues both in Spain and in several European countries.
It is possible to emphasize his performances as soloist in Foundation Juan March, relayed live by National Radio of Spain.
In 2003 he made the recording of a CD with the cellist Pablo de Naverán, who was awarded with the Best Record of the Year by Classes Populares de RNE.
