The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Town Planning, José de Haro González, met on Thursday, April 6, with the General Director of Planning of the Territory, Architecture and Housing, Nuria Fuentes García-Lax, In the headquarters of the Ministry of Development and Infrastructures.
The City Council of Mine has asked the Autonomous Community to update the General Management Plan of the municipality, studying each area that can be given a new urban classification.
As explained by the Mayor, "the objective is the elaboration of a new General Management Plan that our municipality needs, since the previous date of ten years ago." The City of Molina de Segura meets the three basic requirements for the renewal of Said Plan, such as the fact that ten years have passed, the population that already has the municipality, as well as the need to change the qualification of soil in certain areas.
Substantially, these zones are determined rural nuclei of field and orchard that have not been developed and would have to study a new planning for them, fulfilling the Law of the Land, and the importance that for the municipality supposes the endowment of industrial land for its development economic.
The Director-General has also been requested to assist in the implementation of this new Plan and resources to update mapping.
