The Department of Crafts of the Municipality of Molina de Segura organizes a new edition of the Craft Market Souk of Guadalabiad, which is held on Saturday 1 April, from 5 pm to 9 pm in the Plaza de Europa.
As usual every first Saturday of the month, the Souk will have artisan products such as honey and sweets, jewelry, ceramics, brooches, leather, natural cosmetics, etc., as well as workshops where children can participate in various activities.
CULTURAL MARKET is the theme chosen for this edition, with which the Souk is filled with theater, music, dance and literature, offering the visitor a whole range of handicraft products, and invites to participate in different activities for the whole family: Dancing, pintacaras, photocall, workshops of poetry, elaboration of bookmarks and illustration of stories, etc.
The proposed activities of the Souk, with a total of four hours charged with illusion, will have the following schedule:
- 5:30 pm: BALL EXHIBITION, by the girls of the Lola Cerón de Molina de Segura Dance Academy.
- 18.00: LA ABUELITA CALIXTA, which is the most list and comes to tell fantastic adventures that will remind Gloria Fuertes.
- 18.00: opening of the workshops, where children can make their own bookmarks, illustrate a story or learn to write poetry.
- 7 pm: second pass of the LOLA CERÓN BALLERINAS.
- 19.30: LA GRANDE CALIXTA returns with her wonderful stories.
- 20.20: RECITAL OF POETRY, by Irel Bermejo, accompanied by the music of Antonio Hernández Carrasco.
8.30 pm: MISTER AEIOU will arrive in the Souk to tell wonderful native tales in collaboration with students from the workshop El Arte de Contar Cuentos de Molina de Segura.
In addition, during the celebration of the souk, you will be able to admire the exhibition of the final works of the XXVI Literary Contest of Secondary Education of Microrrelato and Micropoesía of Molina de Segura, installed in the own souk, and visit the stand of the Library Salvador García Aguilar ( BSGA), which reaches the market in the middle of its 10th anniversary celebration.
On this occasion, the Souk of Guadalabiad has had the collaboration of the Lola Cerón Dance Academy, Sfera Teatro, the councils of Youth and Culture and BSGA of Molina de Segura, which has prepared a gift for all market visitors who Acquire artisan products.
