The act of presentation of the official poster, the magazine of the Cabildo and the program of events of the Holy Week of Molina de Segura 2017 took place, today Friday, March 3, in the Auditorium Virginia Martínez Fernández, in MUDEM, an act that Has been closed with a concert of the Municipal Band of Molina de Segura and the singer Curro Piñana.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of the Superior Cabildo of Brotherhoods of Molina de Segura, Antonio Ruiz Serrano, the Councilor of the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías and Pastor of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, José Leon León, and the presidents of the four brotherhoods of the municipality: Juan López Riquelme, of the Illustrious Brotherhood of the Santísimo Christ of the Feathers;
Clemente Pujante Lopez, of the Brotherhood of the Holy Burial;
Víctor Manuel Palazón Cano, of the Illustrious, Venerable and Most Ancient Arch-brotherhood of Mary Most Holy of the Rosary and of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ;
And Antonio Ruiz García, of the Confraternity of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem.
This year's official poster is a photograph of the sculptural group of San Miguel, by the imagination of Alicante artist Ramon Cuenca Santos.
The snapshot, which shows a moment of the return of the image to the temple on the morning of Resurrection Sunday, was made by Carolina Hernández López.
The cover of the Cabildo's magazine includes a photograph taken by Raimundo de los Reyes of the head of the Confraternity of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem, stature of Mariano Spiteri, shown at a moment of the parade procession of Palm Sunday By the Paseo Rosales.
The Preach of Holy Week 2017 will be pronounced on Saturday, April 1, by the priest Jerónimo Hernández Almela, who was Consiliario of the Superior Cabildo of Brotherhood Pasionarias of Molina de Segura, in addition to Deacon and Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of the Assumption of Molina de Segura.
Hernández Almela is currently Parish Priest of San Antonio (Lobosillo), La Purísima (Balsapinta) and La Purificación (Valladolises).
Holy Week in Mollina puts on the streets of the municipality a total of 23 steps, including the five that carry children in their procession and, according to the Cabildo, more than 2,500 confreres participate in it.

Friday of pain

When the parade returns to the church, around 11 pm, the image of Our Father Jesus Nazareno meets the Virgin of Sorrows, who begins his transfer from the parish to the Hermitage of San Roque where the Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of the Penas, and with San Juan that is transfer to the Church of San Vicente, soothes the Brotherhood of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem.
Saturday April 8
At 7:30 p.m., in the Parish of Our Lady of the Remedies of La Torrealta, solemn Mass and blessing of the Band of Drums of the Cultural Association La Cruz de Torrealta.
And, at 21.00, reading the opening proclamation of Holy Week of La Torrealta 2017 by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira.
Once the proclamation is over, the Molina de Segura Municipal Band of Music will offer a concert.

Palm Sunday
