Citizens has presented in the Regional Assembly an initiative aimed at implanting in the health centers and the Hospital de Molina de Segura several medical specialties that are currently provided in the health center of the Murcia neighborhood of El Carmen.
The motion of the Orange parliamentary group, presented by Deputy Juan Jose Molina, specifies that the measure "would have a zero cost for the Administration and would avoid thousands of displacements to Murcia of patients of Molina de Segura, while decongesting the health center of the Neighborhood of El Carmen, where they are currently going ".
The deputy said that "both health centers and the Hospital de Molina have enough space to carry out this transfer and that health professionals can perform their work under conditions."
Among the specialties that could be susceptible to transfer to Molina de Segura would be Cardiology, General Surgery and Digestive System, Dermatology, Endocrinology and Nutrition, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Integral Traumatology, Orthopedic Surgery and Urology.
For its part, the coordinator of the Cs manager in Molina de Segura, Javier Real, believes that the measure "would imply a clear improvement in the conditions of patients", which in their opinion add to this condition in addition that "added difficulties Of a poor public transport for their transfers to Murcia ".
