The Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime López de Molina de Segura organizes three Master Classes, Trumpet, Flute and Bassoon during the month of February. The activities will be given at the Conservatory headquarters by the French trumpeter Pierre Ba (09/02/2017)

The Conservatorio Profesional de Musica Maestro Jaime López de Molina de Segura organizes three Master Classes, one of Flute Travesera, on Tuesday, February 14, from Trumpet, from February 16 to 18, and another from Fagot, on Tuesday, February 21, in The headquarters of the Maestro Jaime López Professional Music Conservatory (Calle Capitán Cortés, s / n).

The Master Class of Flute Travesera (February 14) will be given by the transverse flute teacher of the Cartagena Conservatory of Music, Mª José Castaño Murcia, addressed to students of the flute specialty.

María José Castaño Murcia was born in Alcoy (Alicante). She started her flute studies at the age of five in Cartagena (Murcia), where she obtained the Professional Flute Title.

In the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia he obtains the Superior Title of Flute, granting him the Extraordinary Prize of the End of Career (2000).

After completing her studies in Spain, she is awarded a scholarship by the Seneca Foundation to study with Vicent Prats in Paris and Jo Hagen at the Rotterdam Conservatory, where she completed the Professional Diploma of Dutch Flute with the best results (2000-2002).

He then studied for two years at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Emily Beynon (solo flute of the Concertgebouworkest), where he perfected his solo, orchestral and chamber music training (2002-2004).

The Forum Foundation awarded him a study grant to study at the Messiaen Academie in Arnhem with Vincent Cortvrint (piccolo soloist of the Concertgebouworkest) between 2004 and 2006.

He has expanded his musical and musical training by attending courses of interpretation and master class throughout Europe with great flute masters such as Emmanuel Pahud, Sophie Cherrier, William Bennett, Renate Greis, Juliette Hurel, Jaime Martín, etc.

He has performed with orchestras such as the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Camerata de Paris, the Classical Orchestra of The Hague, etc.

From 2006 until 2008 he was a soloist flute of the Orquestra do Norte (Portugal).

He has worked with directors such as Valery Gergiev, Laszo Heltay, Igor Dronov, etc.

His role as flautist of the Alborada Wind Quintet and of the Zéfiro Quintet, with which he has performed concerts in Spain and Portugal, is noteworthy.

He is currently a member of the Xaloc Ensemble, which won the 1st prize in the DE LINK contest (Holland) for the best chamber ensemble.

As a soloist, he played Mozart's Concerto in Sol Mayor with the International Orchestra of the Course of San Javier under the baton of Cristóbal Soler.

He has recently released several works with the Galician Chamber Orchestra.

It obtains the 1st Prize in the V Contest of the Festival of the Mediterranean.

And he was awarded the GERDENLANDSE GRACHTENFESTIVAL CONCOURS (Amsterdam) award.

She is currently lecturer of Flute Travesera at the Music Conservatory of Cuevas del Almanzora (Almería).

The Master Class of Trumpet (February 16-18) is aimed at trumpet students and will be given by French trumpeter Pierre Badel.

Pierre Badel was born in Saint-Étienne (France) on January 23, 1971. Pierre Thibaud's student, Maurice André and Timofei Dokshizer, actively participates in prestigious symphony orchestras such as the English Chamber, , Opera of Munich (Germany), Paris (France) and Cologne (Germany), among many others.

In addition to having performed in numerous important venues such as the Philharmonie in Berlin (Germany), the Champs Elysees in Paris or the Xinghai Concert Hall in Canton (China).

It is very requested for the teaching of master class all over the world.

Finally, the Master Class of Fagot (February 21) will be given by the soloist of the Symphony Orchestra City of Elche and bassoon teacher of the Conservatories of Music of Catral and Cieza, Daniel Meseguer Sáez, and is addressed to the students of the Specialty of bassoon.

In 2011, Daniel Meseguer Sáez completed his postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (London) with Professor Dan Jemison (London Symphony Orchestra), awarded by Leathersellers' Company and Leverhulme Trust.

In 2008, he finished his studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music in Murcia, perfecting his studies with Professor José Lozano (Symphonic Orchestra of Navarra).

He has participated, under the Master Class program in the summer of 2006 and 2007 in The Banff Center (Canada), with professors Stefan Levesque and Frank Morelli, with a scholarship by the Valencian Institute of Music and by Lucy and Stephen Maxym Scholarship.

He has collaborated with the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, Cordoba Orchestra, Spanish Radio Orchestra, Stavanger Symfoniorkester and Navarra Symphony Orchestra.
