The activity also becomes a day of awareness against bullying
The I Carrera Solidaria Alcaldía de Molina 2016, promoted by the Department of Sports and Health, in collaboration with eight secondary schools in the municipality, for the benefit of the Red Cross, will take place on Friday, February 10, at 11.45 am, with departure In Plaza of Spain.
The test was postponed last December 16 for weather reasons.
Thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Education, this activity also becomes a day of awareness against bullying.
First, at 1145 hours, the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, will address a few words to the participants and will deliver the voluntary contribution to the Red Cross.
And then the sports test will start.
The I Carrera Solidaria Alcaldía de Molina is sponsored by Hero, Molinense Producciones Naturales and AMC Group, and the collaboration of the Association of Sportsmen of Molina de Segura, Pedro J. Villa Gym and Manzano Functional Life.
It will take place between 12.00 and 13.15 hours, in the surroundings of the Park of the Company, directed exclusively to students of Secondary Education of the educational centers of the locality.
So far, about one thousand eight hundred runners are assured, who will make a voluntary contribution that will go to the Red Cross.
The participating centers are: Colegio San Jorge, Centro Educativo Los Olivos, Colegio Vicente Medina, French Lycée André Malraux, IES Eduardo Linares Lumeras, IES Francisco de Goya, IES Vega del Táder and IES Cañada de las Eras.
The program includes: a non competitive race around the Park of the Company, variable according to the category (children, 1,000 m, cadets and junior, 2,000 m.);
And a directed session of physical exercise, in Plaza de España and Parque de la Compañía, in charge of the collaborating gyms: Pedro J. Villa and Manzano Functional Life.
