The Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia has awarded the City of Molina de Segura a prize, in the category of good practices, the III Edition of the Awards for Innovation and Good Practices, for the project called Electronic City Council.
The project presented by the City of Molina represents the trajectory in e-government that, since the end of 2010, is being followed in the consistory.
It begins by drawing on the experience and knowledge acquired from previous projects such as Molina Digital, Molina Ciudad Singular or Molina e-Doc.
At the Town Hall Plenary held on September 26, 2011, the Program and work schedule for the adaptation of the Municipality of Molina de Segura to Law 11/2007, dated June 22, was approved for citizens' electronic access to Public services, which has allowed, during a period of 4 years, to implement a series of actions aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the project.
In Electronic City Council have been detailed the main actions implemented:
Electronic Headquarters.
Citizen folder.
Electronic bill.
Emprende in 3.
Electronic signature.
These 5 main actions include other secondary actions, which have served to modernize the municipal administration, and have created the bases for the transformation of the traditional Paper Town Hall to a model of Electronic or Digital City Council.
According to the First Lieutenant of Mayor and Councilor for Electronic Administration and Modernization and Administrative Simplification, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, "the new legislation on common administrative procedure and the legal regime of the public sector is a new challenge for the City Council, which will have That continue with the current strategic line, to achieve a completely electronic, more agile and efficient administration, to increase the quality of public services offered to citizens.
