Luz Gabás opens the Cycle Writers in his ink 2017 of Molina de Segura on Thursday, February 9 (08/02/2017)

The Huesca author will hold a meeting with the media at 7:00 pm, in the same library

Writer Luz Gabás is the first guest of the Cycle of Encounters Literary Writers in their ink 2017 Molina de Segura, organized by the City of Molina de Segura, with the collaboration of la Caixa.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 9, at 8:00 pm, at the Salvador García Aguilar Library (Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 44).

Previously, at 19.00 hours, Gabás will hold a meeting with the media in the same place, where he will be accompanied by the Councilor for Culture of the City of Molina de Segura, Pedro Jesus Martinez Baños, and the Coordinator of the literary cycle, Lola Gracia .

LUZ GABÁS (Monzon, Huesca, 1968)

Gabás is known as the first former mayoress writer (she was municipal councilor in Benasque) and as the protagonist of the editorial phenomenon Palmeras in the snow, published in 2012 and translated into Italian, Catalan, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese.

His debut film, based on the colonial past of Spain in Africa, has also been taken to the cinema and tells the story of his own father, who marched with 24 years to the Sampaka cacao plantation in Equatorial Guinea.

The author is also an English philosopher and has recently published Return to your skin, which takes us back to the sixteenth century and the Pyrenees of the Americas, with a history of unyielding love in which portrays the cruel secular repression against the witchcraft of the time.

Santiago Postiguillo, Ray Loriga, Luis Leante and Ignacio Martínez de Pisón are the next invited to Writers in their ink 2017.
