The Councilor for Education of the City of Molina de Segura, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, has reported that, due to the rains suffered in recent days in the municipality, there have been various damage caused by leaks in several schools in Mollina.
The centers affected by leaks are as follows:
CEIP Ntra. Sra. De la Consolación: presents leaks in a class on the ground floor as well as in the Library.
They have wet books and furniture.
The computer hardware has not been damaged.
CEIP Cervantes: two leaks have appeared in the school dining room, producing no material damage.
CEIP Vega del Segura de La Ribera de Molina: leakage problems in different points of the building and detachment of materials has been detected next to the skylights in the upper floor.
Fuensanta Martinez explained that "from the Department of Education will take measures to repair as soon as possible these deficiencies that these schools present."
In addition, "we again claim to the Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia urgent repair of the cover of the Child Education pavilion of the School La Purisima de El Llano, which has again suffered numerous material damage due to the poor condition of it ".
