The Council of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura held last weekend (26 and 27 November) a meeting of the participants in the Promoter Group of the Plan that will mark the performance of youth policy in the municipality during the coming years.
Some thirty young people participated in the coexistence that took place in the La Casa Grande lodge in the Lorca district of Coy to plan actions and elaborate proposals on issues of interest to the young population.
The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Mayor and Youth Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, who was able to listen to all those proposals and suggestions of participants in youth policy issues and showed "the firm commitment of this government team So that all the effort that the young participants are taking part in these open meetings do not fall on broken or lost in the forgetfulness enclosed in the drawer of some office.
During the Youth Encounter, young people were able to access training on youth participation, as well as discussing and proposing actions aimed at young people in each of the areas in which the Plan will be divided, which have been defined by them : Culture and Leisure, Mobility and Environment, Housing and Self-Managed Spaces, Health, Quality of Life and Sport, Education and Employment and Communication and Dissemination.
In addition, members of the Young Plan Promoter Group planned the next planned actions, in which the young people of Molina de Segura who are interested in contributing their point of view could participate.
The dates for the next Work Commissions of each area were determined, as well as the scheduling of an upcoming Meeting of Young Espabila, Pijo!

These actions are framed in the participatory process that launched the Department of Youth so that the young people were the real protagonists in the preparation of a Youth Plan for the coming years.
