The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Look, visited today by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Angel Navarro Garcia, headquarters, in the existing municipal building opposite the Chapel of San Roque, of the Association for those affected by the disease Parkinson's and other neurological disorders Molina de Segura (APAMOL) where no drug rehabilitation services is provided, Tuesday and Thursday, a dozen users.
This association is constituted as a resource partner health care that meets the needs of users, improving their quality of life and trying to slow down your overall deterioration.
Users perform rehabilitation exercises, both physical and cognitive, for what has a physiotherapist and two health psychologists.
APAMOL addition also conducts occupational workshops and provides emotional support, both users and their families, in order to maintain the highest level of quality of life.
The Mayor has highlighted the great social work groups as APAMOL provided in Molina de Segura and has pledged to continue supporting the City Council, human and economic resources, the work done by this association.
The City provides molinense this year APAMOL a grant of 5,000 euros, which is serving to carry out several of the workshops held at the center, as explained by the President of the association, Patricia Lopez Lopez.
