The balance of school meal service free summer for children from families with lack of economic resources, provided by the City of Molina de Segura during this summer of 2016, was presented at a press conference on Thursday 8 September, the Prime Deputy Mayor, Fernando Hurtado Miñana and the Councillor for Social Welfare, Angel Navarro Garcia.

July began with a total of 57 children, who have attended regularly with some ups and downs in individual days.
Meanwhile, in August, the turnout was 49 under, with modifications in specific days, in which the inflow has decreased.
The causes that have stopped attending are diverse.

Dining monitoring has been done by social workers of the Department of Social Welfare and was organized on a rotating basis among those who were not on vacation.

As for the cost of the service, the menus have been adapted to the needs of different health issues (intolerances, allergies, etc.), cultures and religions that have specified.
The service was initially hired for 64 diners each month (July depending on the day), which are at first were to attend, so there is a gap, always predictable, between contracted and actual attendance.
At a price of € 5.59 daily menu (plus 10% VAT), the total cost of 26 days amounted to 10,391.81 euros.
