The improvement works of the Bus Station Molina de Segura have started this week, with an investment of 74,824 euros.

The works are carried out by the company awarded the Farm Service Bus Station from October 2014, Latbus, with a lead time of two months, which is expected to be completed early next month September.

The plan works will not disrupt the normal business of the Central Bus Station.

The winning company with experience in the sector since 1978, committed in the award of the exploitation of the Bus Station Molina de Segura to develop a Facilities Maintenance Plan.

Within the Facilities Maintenance Plan, and following the various visits and meetings with the Municipal Technical Office and the Councillor for Mobility of the City molinense, Antonio Lopez Vidal, Memory Performances, proposed by the company awarded the Exploitation was approved.

It is work of improvement and adaptation of the facilities of the station in terms of: accessibility, adapting the facilities to the law for people with disabilities, enabling a parking for disabled in the platform area and another in the front of the station;

furniture, making painting, landscaping maintenance and equipment upgrades;

and in the area of ​​customer service, adapting the sales counter to the disabled, among other works.

The works were visited on Thursday, July 7, by Councilman Mobility, Antonio Lopez Vidal, and the Councillor for Public Roads, Fuensanta Martinez Jimenez, who said that "this action is intended to adapt as much as possible the bus station what a municipality like Molina de Segura deserves and needs. "
