A group of technicians of the Regional Network of Tourist Offices Region of Murcia conduct a familiarization visit, Famtrip, Molina de Segura on Wednesday, June 1, from 09.30 to 14.00, to visit the main tourist resources offered by the municipality.
This visit falls within the program of familiarization visits the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia (ITREM) organized in collaboration with the various municipalities and tourist offices, in order that your staff know all tourism resources, cultural and landscape of the region.
So far, they have confirmed their attendance representatives of the municipalities of San Javier, Eagles, Lorca, Torre Pacheco, Fortuna, La Union Cieza, Murcia, Moratalla, Mula and Cehegín as well as representatives of ITREM, among which is the Quality Director of the Regional Network of Tourist Offices.
Famtrip The program is as follows:
09.30 h .: Meeting at the front door of City Hall.
10.00 h .: Official reception in the Hall of City Hall, by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Look, and the Councillor for Tourism, Rocío Sánchez Balsalobre.
10.45 h .: visit to the recently opened Museum of the Enclave of the Wall (MUDEM), a project designed to protect and spread the remains rescued in 2004 from the wall of Molina de Segura.
A journey through the history of the fortification of Andalusian origin between the eleventh and sixteenth centuries.
12:45 h .: visit to the Mirador del Castillo, an urban space recently put in value, where remains of the ancient Citadel are.
13.00 h .: visit to the Museum Horno Council and House of Folklore.
This space was born after the recovery and rehabilitation of the oldest furnace Molina de Segura, located in the Castle District.
It is a unique example of architecture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
13.30 h .: visit to the Tourist Office and delivery of promotional material.
The Tourist Office of Molina de Segura is located in downtown Los Postigos, where there is also a section of the medieval wall, an exhibition hall and workspace of the departments of Commerce, Handicrafts and Tourism.
14.00 h .: end of the visit.
