The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Look, met, on Friday May 13, with the Director General of Citizen Participation, European Union External Action of the Region of Murcia, Manuel Pleguezuelo, to boost cooperation between the City and the Directorate General for European projects that may be developed in Molina de Segura.
During the meeting, the Mayor, accompanied by municipal technicians, has shared with the Director General the need for closer cooperation between the municipalities and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, strengthening the capacities of municipalities to address European projects for the benefit of the population.
For Esther Clavero "is a strategic issue and therefore considered essential to establish a collaborative framework in which Molina de Segura is committed partner capital in the region for the development and implementation of European initiatives, both led by the Community Autonomous as those directly drives the City ".
The Mayor has raised various issues of concern to Molina de Segura, through the different programs and European funds, can generate sustainable, smart and inclusive growth in the municipality (employment, innovation, re-industrialization, social inclusion, energy efficiency, etc. .).
