"Good people" get to Molina de Segura (03/05/2016)

A first-rate cast composed of VERÓNICA FORQUÉ, Juan Fernandez, CARMEN BALAGUÉ, INGE MARTIN, CARMEN ARÉVALO DIEGO and PARIS, gives life to this story, written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lindsay-Abraire.

GOOD PEOPLE reaches Molina de Segura after an excellent season in the Gran Via, where thousands of spectators enjoyed this "experience".

Full of humor, emotion and sensitivity, "Good People" explores the challenges, loyalties and desires an adult, ordinary person, must travel not to lower the arms in search of a new opportunity for life.

Winner of the 2011 Tony Award, "Good People" has Castilian version and DAVID SERRANO address.

"Good People" is the first co-production of SOM PRODUCE -the producer manages three of the most important theaters in Madrid, Rialto, Calderon and Alcalá, also responsible for hits like The Sound of Music and PRISCILLA The Musical- with COW STUDY, producer of some of the greatest theatrical successes of recent seasons: Venus in Furs with Clara Lago, ADULTERY, Woody Allen, Maria Barranco and Miriam Diaz Aroca and SHIRLEY VALENTINE, with Veronica I invaded.

The function is Friday May 6 at the Teatro Villa de Molina 21: 30h.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster and at the box office.

"Good People" is an American work, its author, David Lindsay Abaire, he was born in Boston and its story takes place in the streets of that city, and yet, when one reads it first has the impression that might be perfectly a Spanish play, written today by an author born in any major city in our country and starring a cast of characters who live in esamisma town.

It is very difficult for a text get something, but is that the characters of "good people" are so well written that reading his wanderings you almost feel you know them or at least has crossed many times with humans very like them.

Whether you live in Boston, Buenos Aires or Madrid, or Margaret or Marguerite called, what matters is that they are so real that this function almost like a documentary about how millions of people live in large cities called first world.

The closer the theater to life and I like this work, and what you see, espura life.

Margarita, the star of "Good People" is a heroine of our time.

For me it is much braver than Lara Croft or Catwoman.

He has no super powers or kill spies, but seenfrenta daily missions in which James Bond surely fail conestrépito.

single mother of a girl in her forties who has a severe physical and mental retardation and behaves like a baby, Margaret does all it can to survive with his daughter in a world increasingly másfrío, most inhuman and cruel to people to whom fate has sidoesquiva them.

And David Lindsay Abaire and its protagonist are very clear: your life can change only with a stroke of luck, and Margarita, as those millions of people who spoke before, it has never had.

Perhaps it could have been better if it had not been so good people, but she never chose that path.

To interpret a text written almost like a story because of its extreme likelihood was essential to have a cast able to have the truth on stage, and lesaseguro that if you write something so realistic is very complicated is even harder to get convey that truth to put it up.

So I can only give thanks for having - yes, I did the I - lucky to have such an exceptional cast as they are about to see on stage.

His work and all the staging is designed so that the viewer takes a peek into the lives of these good people and that, even for just a moment, feel they are not in a theater, but at Margarita and his companions.

Hopefully we have managed that our role is also pure life.
