The presentation of the travel book few days in Paris, Paco Lopez Mengual, will take place on Wednesday, April 27, at 20.00 pm in the Library Salvador García Aguilar (in Chorrico Avenue, No. 44), as activity Book Spring 2016 Molina de Segura.

The renowned novelist and haberdasher Paco Lopez Mengual presents his second chronicle of travel after Recuerdos de Lisboa.

A few days in Paris is the chronicle of a trip to the French capital that the author did with his family during the summer of 2006. Despite the short length of the story, in its pages gathers the most recognizable ingredients writing Paco Lopez Mengual: his usual fresh and spontaneous style, his fine irony and a sparkling sense of humor that in perspective, the work wisely seasons, preventing the reader to wipe his face in any moment the permanent smile accomplice.

A few days in Paris can be recommended without problems as an excellent travel guide for the casual tourist, for sufficiently mundane traveler to admire the perfect breasts of the sexy dancers of the Moulin Rouge, yet sufficiently educated, sensitive and fetishistic to get excited to visit the cemetery of Montparnasse, romantic cemetery that holds the remains of great names of world literature, as Samuel Beckett, Cioran or Julio Cortazar.

Paco Lopez Mengual was born in Molina de Segura in 1962 in a family of merchants.

After studying Teaching at the University of Murcia he joined the family business.

Currently, he runs a haberdashery in his hometown, activity that arranges with his literary work.

Author late, he does not begin writing until after age forty.

His first novel, The Memory of mud, was published in 2005;

since his literary activity has been very fruitful, having published three novels: The map of a crime, the last ship to America and Chinese Cursed.

He is also author of the books of accounts The mansion mutants and Hilarito's gun and other stories that they told me.

Currently he works as a literary columnist in the newspaper La Opinion de Murcia and Editanet digital magazine.

In September 2013 he was in charge of reading the opening speech of the Festival of Molina de Segura.

He is a member of the association La Molineta Literary and Very Noble and Loyal Order of Molina de Segura meteorite.
