Look Esther Clavero has become the new Mayor of Molina de Segura after the extraordinary plenary session of mayoral election held Tuesday March 29, 2016, in the municipal Plenary Hall.
The hitherto spokesman of the Socialist Municipal Group obtained 15 votes for his candidacy (6 votes of PSOE, 5 votes Citizen-Party of the Citizenship, 3 votes Let's change Molina de Segura and 1 vote to win Molina-IP), compared to 8 votes obtained by the candidate of the Municipal People's Party, Sonia Carrillo Marble.
After the vote, the City Clerk has proclaimed Mayor Esther Clavero Mira, who has accepted the position and given promise as Mayor of Molina de Segura.
Then the Mayor has received the baton from outgoing Mayor, Worship Molina López, and has held his seat to chair the full session of the Municipal Corporation.
