The Brotherhood of the Holy Burial of Molina de Segura stain of black and white city streets with the Holy Burial Procession, held on March 25, Good Friday, from 21.00.
400 Nazarenes, dressed in black and white mourning robes, participate in the parade with the Band of Drums of the Brotherhood, marching bands and a quartet of violins.
The parade begins with the Band of Drums of the Brotherhood and Penitencial Pennant, marking the occasion of the penitential procession.
Behind them, the Cristo del Consuelo, designed by the Murcian sculptor José Hernández Navarro, followed by La Piedad, also set by Hernández Navarro appears.
Then procesiona the old banner of the Brotherhood (1945), the Third of the Holy Cross with Mary Magdalene, the third work of Hernández Navarro.
Next is the Third of Santo Cristo recumbent, accompanying the Lord of the bed, work molinense Bernabé Gil Riquelme, courted by censers and drums announcing their arrival, and after passing violins.
Finally, the image of the Virgen de la Soledad, Gil de Bernabé, accompanied by the Legion Ladies of La Soledad, thirty ladies with Spanish mantilla, as the fifteen Mysteries of the Rosary, ending the procession of the Holy Burial.
The procession will start from the chapel and headquarters of the Brotherhood, Calle Holy Sepulchre, to go Calle Mayor, Street station, Paseo Rosales, Plaza de la Murcia Region, Culture Street, Street Pensioner, Plaza de la Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. Assumption, Consolacion Street, Immaculate Square, and ends again in Street Holy Sepulchre.
The Brotherhood of the Holy Burial organizes the procession of Good Friday since 1992.
