The Cultural Association La Cruz de La Torrealta Molina celebrates the nineteenth edition of the Living Via Crucis Holy Wednesday March 23 (21/03/2016)

The representation of the Living Stations of the Torrealta Molina, organized by the Cultural Association La Cruz de La Torrealta, in collaboration with the City of Molina de Segura, will take place on Holy Wednesday March 23, from 23.00 hours, the streets of the village of Torrealta Molina.

It has developed a program of activities that will be developed around the staging of the Cross.

In light of the torches and period costume, more than 100 people, residents of the hamlet, recall the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ.

From the palace, located in the door of the Church, to Golgotha, the mountain located on the outskirts of the village, the last moments of the life of Christ are staged.

Each of the 15 stations develops in preparations along the route for the occasion, or in natural environments, such as station Cyrene, Veronica, Calvary, the tomb and the Resurrection, in order to give natural scenery and credibility to the scene.

The itinerary is as follows: exit from Calle La Mola, and continues along Calle Javier Azagra, Plaza de la Iglesia, Calle Javier Azagra, Calle Alfredo Nobel (from the pharmacy), enclosure and solar (front pharmacy), Calle Ramon y Cajal, street Isaac Albéniz, Plaza de la Cruz, Calle Maestro Rodrigo street Domingo Gil, Calle Carmen Conde, and Calle Garcia Lorca.

In each of the stations a story related to the own station and the present time society becomes live.

Lighting, created with natural light throughout the tour carrying the torches and candles antorcheros carrying companions, gives authenticity, naturalness and coherence to the dramatization, creating the need for reflection and meditation room.

Music is one of the core elements of the Cross Living;

live music by the Choir Hims Mola, songs during the tour of the participants and classical music in every season, creating the need to connect the scene with the public environment.

The Way of the Cross is represented since 1998, in this second stage, by the Cultural Association La Cruz de Torrealta, as its origins date back to 1982, when the parish priest Jose Moreno, in order to attract young people to the parish, devised this unique Via Crucis, unique in the region of Murcia.

In addition, throughout the day Wednesday of Holy Week, activities take place in the village of La Torrealta: installation Guadalabiad Medieval Market Souk, thematized with games and workshops for children;

Traditional Top Road;

and 18.00 Parade of Moors and Christians, represented by the Federation of Associations of Moors and Cristinianos Fiestas Santa Cruz de Abanilla.
