The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, has submitted his resignation as Mayor of Molina de Segura and minutes of council on Friday March 18.
The resignation became effective at 1330 hours, by submitting a written at City Hall.
Once submitted the resignation, the mayor has called an extraordinary plenary session, with the only point of the day to take cognizance of the resignation, as required by art.
40 of the Rules of Organization and Functioning legal status of local authorities, approved by Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28 (ROF).
This plenary session will be held on Monday, March 21, at 19.00 pm in the municipal Plenary Hall.
From the conclusion of the plenary will take over the current Mayor Deputy Mayor of the City molinense, Worship Molina López, as stipulated in the art.
23.3 of Law 7/1985, of 2 April, regulating the Local System (LRBRL) and Art.
47 ROF.
She shall be responsible for convening the session for the election of the new mayor, under the terms provided in Organic Law 5/1985 of June 19, the General Electoral System (LOREG).
On the other hand, Eduardo Contreras Linares also announced that he will resign his position as President of the People's Party of Molina de Segura, resignation will be effective at the local Executive Committee held at 20.00 am Friday.
