The City of Molina de Segura part in the conference European Opportunities Financing for Cities Network of Cities of Science and Innovation, Red Innpulso, held in Valencia on 8, 9 and 10 March.
The consistory molinense group is part of towns and innovative Innpulso localities belonging to the state network, aiming to position and get European funding for innovation projects.
Councillor for Innovation, Reme Lopez Paredes, is present in Valencia in this training seminar on financing network for innovation in energy efficiency, creative and cultural industries and mobility, among other subjects.
The ultimate goal is to identify common needs among municipalities in the network and launch joint actions for better economic management sustainable city.
To do this, stands Reme Lopez, "the City will be with the leaders of the network to the European Commission to translate the concerns cities in innovation and identify lines of funding to support innovative and sustainable urban development of our cities."
Among the most important issues for Molina de Segura, will address the favor the competitiveness of SMEs, urban innovative actions, innovative public procurement, the use of safe, clean and sustainable energy efficiency and use of resources , mitigation of climate change, intelligent transport, the Internet of Things platforms or social innovation.
The Innpulso network brings together 56 cities and Spanish towns united in the interest of promoting innovation and science policies, and work together to improve their innovative potential, contributing to changing the production model towards a sustainable model for economic and social level.
