The new visitors concerted Industry in Molina de Segura: identity and history, promoted by the Department of Culture, Tourism and Archives of the City molinense, with the collaboration of the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences (CIFE) of Molina de Segura, it has been presented at a news conference Wednesday March 2.
Attended by the First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Worship Molina López, and the Director of CIFE Molina de Segura, Pedro Angosto Cano.
The industry in Molina de Segura: identity and history aims to show how a predominantly rural municipality as the molinense went on to become the benchmark for the canning industry, leading domestic and international level, in the very recent past, starring demographic development more spectacular of Spain in the second half of the twentieth century and leading to the city it is today.
The recipients of this program are school groups from 4th year of primary education and general population, with a maximum of 30 people per group.
The visits will take place on Friday from 10.00 to 13.00, and shall consist of: talks with informative panels at the Los Postigos center (Street Pensioner, No. 3), with an approach to industrial development of the Villa, knowing firsthand the industrialization process of Molina de Segura, from its origins, production and export of paprika in the late nineteenth century;
and visit the Center Garden (in Street Profesor Joaquin Abellan, No. 8), where they have been installed photo exhibitions on the town of Antonio Robles Del Black and White to Color and models of Jesus Herrero forgotten memories, that will enable students contextualize the subject.
The activity is complemented by a visit to the pilot retains the CIFE (at Avenida Gutiérrez Mellado), in order to appreciate the whole process of conservation of different products plant.

This program is a response to the demand of the students and teachers of the municipality and due to the great acceptance last year of the program of visits concerted A walk through history, in which more than 2,000 people were able to immerse themselves in the history of the town from the first human remains of the Paleolithic to the stage of the Marquis of Vélez, through its foundation.
Now the Department of Tourism and Culture intends to continue spreading the story of Molina de Segura.
Centro Los Postigos
This center houses a canvas wall Moorish period, the Tourist Office and an Exhibition Hall, and serves as a starting point in this journey.
Visitors will learn the industrial process of Molina de Segura, born with the registration of the mark as cannery Moreno between 1900-1911, and reaches its peak in the late 70s, turning the town into the labor icon, which resulted an important migratory movement and unprecedented urban development in the region.
Exhibitions The Garden Room
In this room it has opened a new exhibition space to admire samples photograph of Antonio Robles, the Black and White to Color, and models of ancient buildings Jesus Herrero, forgotten memories, helping the visitor to contextualize this issue.
Molina de Segura CIFE
This center under the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment of the Region of Murcia specializes in Vocational Training Agrifood.
The visit to its facilities will reveal the entire process of canning of different products.
Participants can witness live manufacturing different preserves, from the arrival of the fresh product to the plant to its packaging and labeling, following the relevant quality controls.
