The financial institution will provide 18,000 euros to the WEF in 2010
The signing of a cooperation agreement between the Medical Research Foundation Molina de Segura (FEM) and Obra Social La Caixa has taken place today Tuesday 22 June in the Press Room of City Hall.
Attended by the Honorary Chairman of the CEO and Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and Business Area Director of La Caixa, José Ruiz Marín.
Under the agreement, the Caixa, through its Social Work, the FEM provides 18,000 euros for 2010, to assist in conducting outreach activities in biomedical Molina de Segura.
The agreement is renewable upon mutual agreement.
The WEF, founded in 2002, has among its objectives the promotion of scientific outreach and care among the general population, the organization of courses, seminars and meetings in the field of science and memory, and organizing seminars scientific guidance to the young graduates of the six secondary schools in Molina de Segura, among other activities.
