This meeting was attended by the Mayor of the town, Eliseo García Cantó, the Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes, the Councilor for Economic Promotion, José de Haro González, and municipal technicians, with the company MálagaTrading.
This continues with the round of contacts started in 2018 with various companies, financial institutions and investment groups, with the aim of increasing the hotel rooms that respond to the existing need, and facilitating accommodation for all those who come to the municipality by reasons for work, tourism, events, etc.
On the part of the Consistory, the investment platform has been provided with a series of locations, public and private, both in plots and buildings, for the arrival of hotels in Molina de Segura.
This entails a great business opportunity, to ensure the hotel capacity that Molina de Segura and its region demand.
With the company Málaga Trading, an international business platform with extensive experience in advice, exports and investments and agreements with partners from up to 64 countries, "we have established initial contacts to distribute information to operators and hotel chains that may be interested in investing in our municipality, before the data that make our municipality an attractive destination for different profiles of hotel clients ", explains the Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez.
The hotel investment options in Molina de Segura are extended to three types of business model: city and tourism, business and business areas, and golf and leisure, all of which have a place in the municipality.
Every year Molina de Segura receives thousands of visitors who need accommodation to stay overnight.
This demand comes through the gastronomic, sports and cultural offer of the municipality, with international theater and music festivals, such as: its guided visits to the historical heritage and hiking routes for family tourism; Altorreal Golf Course, a pioneer reference in the Region; and the business that is generated with more than 5,000 existing companies in the municipality, distributed in six business areas, in the 5 million m2 of industrial land that the municipality has.
This economic attraction means the arrival of thousands of salespeople, clients, managers and suppliers each year to the capital of Vega Media.
