| The deadline for submitting the texts is March 31, 2021 and the award is endowed with 1,000 euros | The Molina de Segura City Council, through the Culture Council of the Molina de Segura City Council, and in collaboration with the Editorial Tirano Banderas, announces the I Juan José Ferrando Theater Texts Prize.

The BORM published last December 17 the call and bases for the creation of said award, approved by the Local Government Board on December 3, 2020. This initiative was born with the aim of promoting and supporting the creation of new dramatic texts from the Department of Culture of the Molinense Consistory. This award, endowed with 1,000 euros, tries to honor the memory of Juan José Ferrando, an author and actor from Moline who worked with different companies in the Region of Murcia and died in 2007, as well as promote and support the creation of new dramatic texts that, both for their approach, for the quality and originality of their dialogues, and for their scenic vision, contribute to the enrichment of the theatrical panorama of the region nya support the creativity of the dramatic authors of the country. Those authors, with no age limit, who present a single text in Spanish, whose duration on stage is estimated as normal or acceptable in any theatrical performance, in any case not less than sixty, may participate.
