In this way, the consistory of Molines responds to the request made by the ELA Region of Murcia Association and the Luzón Foundation, and joins this action to make the disease visible, promoted since 2018 by patient associations such as the Community ELA National. The President of the ELA Region of Murcia Association, Damián Guerao López, affirms in his letter of application to join the initiative that ELA "is probably one of the most devastating diseases that anyone and any family can face.

That, it seems essential to give visibility and that society understands what the sick and their families face in the face of this fatal diagnosis.

" In 2019, a total of 134 municipalities from the 17 autonomous communities participated, lighting 171 green buildings throughout Spain, among which were the Fuente de Cibeles in Madrid, the Plaza de España in Seville, the Arco de Santa María de Burgos, the City Councils of Barcelona or Donosti, the Provincial Council of A Coruña and the Temple of Diana de Mérida.

In our Autonomous Community the Moneo building, the Segura river bed, the Manterola Bridge and the Urban Center building of the Fuertes Group in Murcia were illuminated.
