Graduated in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1992, he is currently a collaborating professor at the Institute of Government and Public Policies of the same, as well as a consultant in public policies, community action and citizen participation.

From 2016 to 2019 he was commissioner of Participation and Active Democracy of the Barcelona City Council and Secretary General of the International Observatory of Participatory Democracy (OIDP), in which the Molina de Segura City Council is integrated.

He has held the positions of manager of the Area of ??Citizenship Rights, Participation and Transparency of the Barcelona City Council between 2015 and 2016, and of the Premià de Mar City Council between 2013 and 2015. He has combined all these positions with his academic activity, being a professor of postgraduate courses, masters and courses at different Spanish universities, in addition to publishing numerous publications.
