Molina de Segura participates in the Cámon! Reactiva, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce to reactivate local commerce (29/05/2020)

Officials and technicians of the departments of Commerce and Economic Promotion have held, today, Friday, May 29, a videoconference meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and commercial and business associations to find out the details of the campaign and municipal support for this initiative. The Molina de Segura City Council, through the Department of Commerce and Economic Promotion, continues with the actions aimed at reviving the commercial sector to alleviate the consequences of the state of alarm decreed by COVID-19, and participates in the Cámon campaign ! Reactiva, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce to reactivate local commerce. The Councilor for Economic Promotion, José de Haro González, and the Councilor for Trade, Crafts and Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes, accompanied by municipal technicians, held a videoconference meeting, today, Friday, May 29, with representatives of the Trade Association Professionals, COM-PRO, the Association of Entrepreneurs and Merchants of Segura, ASECOM, and the Murcia Chamber of Commerce, represented by its Secretary General, José Daniel Martínez González, and by the President, Miguel López Abad, to support this initiative that It seeks to reactivate the sales of shops, the consumption of customers and the commitment of companies. The Molina de Segura City Council participates in the Cámon! Reactive, on the one hand, with the dissemination of the campaign itself among citizens, as well as requesting collaboration from the business community for their collaboration in it.

On the other hand, it will make a contribution of 5,000 euros, an amount that reverts to the local shops. Come on! Reactiva is a campaign that aims to reactivate small commerce, an initiative to help drive a return to normality in local commerce, which has barely been able to sell for almost two months. The Murcia Chamber of Commerce will issue a series of bonds with a price of 15 euros each, exchangeable for purchases amounting to 25 euros in the commercial establishments of its demarcation that adhere to the initiative.

In this way, it is possible to promote purchases in local shops in the area, thus being an incentive for general economic activity.

Companies are asked for a contribution of 5,000 euros, to which a row 0 will be added for those companies and / or individuals who wish to contribute another amount, which will lead to recognition for those collaborating companies. The Molina de Segura City Council, through the Business Office, will request the collaboration and involvement of the local business fabric with the commercial fabric, which is in a difficult situation, with the aim of encouraging consumption that generate wealth in your environment. Through the Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce located in municipal offices, all the information regarding the campaign will be available, which will start on June 15. The COM-PRO and ASECOM associations point out as important the need for training in IT issues and customer loyalty so that they shop in their city.

For their part, Councilors Andrés Martínez and José de Haro highlight that "the City Council of Molina de Segura joins this campaign as a direct benefit to local businesses, since our contribution reaches our establishments directly.
