The City of Molina de Segura launches the project Improving school coexistence in secondary schools (27/02/2020)

The Project Improvement of school coexistence in secondary education centers in Molina de Segura, promoted by the Participatory Budgeting process and the Department of Education of the Molinense City Council, was presented at a press conference today Thursday, February 27.

The presentation was attended by the Second Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Education, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, and the coordinator of Alioth Cultura, SL, the company that awarded the service to carry out the project, Cristina Ramos Berna.

This collaboration project between Participatory Budgets and the Department of Education seeks to contribute to the prevention of school absenteeism and harassment, in addition to favoring the peaceful resolution of conflicts, positively influencing interpersonal relationships, in the acceptance of social diversity, promoting tolerance, equality, inclusion and freedom.

In the Participatory Budgets, a citizen initiative was approved with an economic heading for the development of effective actions to work and collaborate with the educational centers from the municipal services for the improvement of school life.

The project was awarded to the company Alioth Cultura, SL, for an amount of 22,990 euros, and it must develop its service throughout the year 2020.

The educational centers in which each of the parts of this project will be carried out are privileged spaces for the education of coexistence in an inclusive, respectful and diverse way, and it is one of the most important places in life of young people, where the foundations are laid for future participation in our democratic society.

Improvement of school life is developed based on 5 different blocks, but a common line of action: the improvement of school life.

The five structured blocks are as follows:

BLOCK 1: Coordination and dissemination

Contribution from the contracting company, of a qualified person with proven experience that fits the profile demanded as project coordinator.

Carrying out a campaign to disseminate the project of school coexistence of the City of Molina de Segura, through different media.

Coordination of the personnel that will carry out the programmed activities with the educational centers, as well as with the person responsible for the Department of Education.

Realization of the reports after the completion of the project.

BLOCK 2: Artistic creations in my educational center: School Coexistence.

Development of an adequate selection of the positive aspects of school life to translate them into an artistic mural.

Realization of the artistic activity with the participation of the students in an active and creative way.

Preparation of a multimedia dossier (photography and video) in which the activities carried out with the students are reflected.

BLOCK 3: Forum Theater.

Carrying out socio-educational activities, both during school hours and after school, with secondary school students designed to foster a healthy and equal coexistence.

Use of innovative techniques with experiential character (Forum Theater, coaching, escape room, etc.).

Creation of activities focused on the participation of students, teachers, families and neighborhood community, following collective creation methods, to foster cooperation and create communication channels that help in the resolution of conflicts.

Preparation of a multimedia dossier (photography and video) in which the activities carried out with the students are reflected.

BLOCK 4: Living in recreation with the participation of the Occupational Classroom in the IES Francisco de Goya.

Participation of the students of the Occupational Classroom in the activities and in the improvement of the sports facilities of the IES (Creation of the orchard bowling track).

Contribution of the necessary material for the realization of the improvement in the facilities.

Preparation of a multimedia dossier (photography and video) in which the activities carried out with the students are reflected.

BLOCK 5: Active Patios.

Coordination with HEIs to introduce this activity into their Annual General Programming of the center.

Promotion and improvement of social skills and interpersonal relationship with recreational and leisure-type proposals at recesses, which involve participation and acceptance among equals, managing and giving a peaceful solution to situations of tension, stress, frustration, rejection and / or unrest.

Active participation of teachers in the planning and development of activities through a designated coordinator.

Preparation of a multimedia dossier (photography and video) in which the activities carried out with the students are reflected.

Contribution of the necessary material for the realization of the different workshops.
