The Department of Gender Equality and Violence organizes a new edition of the children's storytelling program "We like good treatment" (08/11/2019)

A total of ten children's schools, public and concerted, of Molina de Segura participate in a new edition of the storyteller program "We like good treatment", an initiative of the Department of Gender Equality and Violence that seeks, for the third consecutive year , sensitize girls and boys to the importance of equality between men and women, through stories, to prevent situations of sexist violence in the future.

This program began last Monday, November 4 and will be extended until the 15th of this month.

The storytelling sessions, about 40 minutes each, are held in the Santa Helena, Consolación, Los Olivos, Altorreal, Cañada de las Eras, El Limonar, San Antonio, Our Lady of the Assumption, El Llano e schools Immaculate

The session on Thursday, November 7, held at the CAI of Altorreal, was attended by the Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence, Montserrat Montanos Villegas, who explained that this is a coeducation activity adapted to the age of children and girls from nursery schools.

A group of 40 boys and girls, aged 1 and 2, listened carefully to the story "A monster of colors", a story that served to work emotions, joy and sadness, all in a simple and fun way.

This initiative is part of the XVI Program for the Prevention of Gender Violence of the City of Molina de Segura and is another activity of the municipal actions carried out to commemorate November 25, "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women. "
