The City of Molina de Segura reports that the topographic field work has begun to provide an accurate mapping of the entire El Chorrico urbanization in all its phases.

The purpose of these works, managed by the Department of Heritage, is to have detailed information on all the surfaces of this urbanization, which has an age of more than 40 years but has not yet completed the process of transfer to the City Council of all the lands that it has obligation to deliver, although this has been pending since 1992.

This action is complementary to other technical and legal work carried out by the City Council to determine exactly and on the spot pending assignments.

To this end, in 2011, a Notarial Requirement had been formulated for the Urban Entity to make mandatory assignments effective, a requirement that said entity has not accepted in all of its terms and is currently settled in court.

The beginning of this work almost coincides in time with the sentence of last October 17, of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 6 of Molina de Segura, which gives the reason for the Consistory in its claim to the Collaborating Urban Entity of Conservation El Chorrico on the property and possession of a plot of green area of ​​4,200 m2.

As explained by the Councilor for Heritage, Mariano Vicente Albaladejo, "the conflict between the Urban Entity to deliver the land to the City Council has been blocking the realization of municipal investments of interest both for the residents of the urbanization and for the entire citizenship of the municipality This is the case of the rehabilitation and cleaning of the spring that gives its name to the urbanization, which is in a state of abandonment, deterioration and considerable unhealthiness.
