The General Confederation of Labor of Murcia (CGT), in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura, has organized the photographic exhibition La Mirada de Kati Horna.
Guerra y Revolución (1936-1939), open to the public from November 5 to 30, in the Exhibition Hall of the Enclave de la Muralla Museum (MUDEM) in Ibn Arabí Street, s / n, in Molina de Segura.
The opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 5, at 8:00 p.m.
The exhibition was presented at a press conference, today, Thursday, October 31, at the Molinense session, by the Councilor for Culture, Soledad Nortes Navarro, the Secretary General of CGT Murcia, Julián Cuevas López, and the Secretary of Culture of CGT Murcia , Juan Antonio García Cortés.
The exhibition includes part of the photographic archive of Kati Horna, deposited by this Hungarian anarchist photographer at the Documentary Center of the Historical Memory of Salamanca.
98 images of this background have been selected, to which 8 explanatory panels have been added that contextualize the photographs, to form an exhibition that, before reaching Molina de Segura, has traveled throughout much of the country (Valencia, Madrid, Burgos , Barcelona, ​​Valladolid, etc.).
The exhibition wants to value and spread the work of Kati Horna, a photographer who left us an important historical document and of great artistic value in the Spanish Civil War.

Guerra y Revolución (1936-1939) can be visited: mornings, from Tuesday to Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, and Sundays, from 11 am to 2 pm;
and afternoons, from Wednesday to Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
