Molina Hospital is one of the five finalists of the XIV Edition of the Best In Class Awards (BIC), in the Emergency Services, Traumatology, Corporate Social Responsibility and Best Hospital of Medium Complexity, promoted by "Medical Gazette" (publication of the Wecare-U Communication Group) and the Chair of Innovation and Health Management of the Rey Juan Carlos University, with the support of FundaMed (Foundation of Medicines and Health Products Sciences).

The objective of these Awards is to publicly and annually recognize the best Primary Care Center, the best Hospital and the best Services or Units of the national territory, both public and private, that seek excellence in the care they provide to their patients.

In the words of the Director-Manager of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, "for us it is a pride to have, once again, two Hospital Services such as Traumatology and Emergencies as well valued in the field of quality of care and patient care Without a doubt, it is another stimulus to continue offering the best of both, as is the case with the recognition of our Corporate Social Responsibility Area (RSC): being a finalist for the BIC Awards 2019, confirms our involvement with responsible management of triple economic, environmental and social performance and once again places us as one of the companies in the Region of Murcia that works most for the RSC.

Best Hospital of Medium Complexity.

This year we also add a new recognition to our management as one of the best Hospitals of Medium Complexity ".

The Molina Hospital was also among the five best Hospitals in Spain in CSR (2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2013), in Traumatology and Emergency (2018, 2017 and 2016), in Internal Medicine (2014 and 2013) and in Clinical Safety (2012).

This edition has had a wide participation, which accounts for the impact of these Awards in our country.

The award of these awards - which takes place on October 29 in Santiago de Compostela -, is based on the score obtained by the candidates with the Patient Assistance Quality Index (ICAP), specially prepared for these Awards, and which establishes from the multivariable analysis of the data provided by hospitals and primary care centers.

The winners and finalists in the different categories are part of the "Guide to the Best Hospitals and Health Services" which is published annually.
