The III Molina Festival Antigua Music, MOMUA 2019, promoted by the Department of Culture of the Molinense City Council and the female vocal group of ancient music DeMusica Ensemble, will take place from November 1 to 17, at the Wall Enclave Museum (MUDEM) .
The event was presented at a press conference on Thursday, October 24, at the Molinense session, by the Councilor for Culture, Soledad Nortes Navarro, and the artistic co-director of the festival, María Ángeles Zapata Castillo.
MOMUA began its trajectory in 2017 with the aim of giving a cultural impulse to the city, and revaluing the historical-artistic heritage of Molina de Segura through an ancient music festival.
Throughout his career he has had the performance of specialized groups in the interpretation of ancient music, as well as specialist professors, of great professional career and projection at national and international level.
All activities are carried out at the facilities of the Wall Enclave Museum (MUDEM), which has hosted the festival since its inception.
They are its artistic directors Mª Ángeles Zapata and Lorenzo Cutillas.
The organization is in charge of the Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura and the female vocal group of ancient music DeMusica Ensemble.
This year, the program consists of CONGRESS, CONFERENCES, CONCERTS, and COURSES:
October 25-27: I National Congress Old music and recent perspectives: history from a gender perspective.
The Congress is part of the academic offer of the International University of the Sea and is also organized by the Music and Women work commission: gender studies of the SEdeM (Spanish Society of Musicology).
October 26, at 10:30 p.m. .: Women at play.
Music for the 21st century, in Centro Párraga de Murcia (Scenic Box).
