The Second Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Education of the City of Molina de Segura, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, has accompanied the Minister of Education and Culture of the Region of Murcia, María Esperanza Moreno Reventós, on her visit to Molina de Segura today Tuesday 17 September, after the heavy floods suffered by the municipality.
They have visited the CEIP San Antonio and elIES Vega del Táder.
The City of Molina de Segura has made a first assessment of the damage caused by heavy rains in schools.
"Fortunately, our public schools and institutes have not suffered serious incidents during the floods; only small leakage problems and some interruption in the electricity supply," Fuensanta Martínez explained.

SRA DE LA CONSOLACIÓN: water entry into several classrooms, auditorium, offices, library, etc., without serious damage.
CEI PASEO ROSALES: the elevator does not work, leaks in some classrooms, and water entering the ramp and stairs.
CEIP VEGA DEL SEGURA: the awning has been untied.
CEIP MOLINA FIELD: plates have been detached from the sports hall.

CEIP MAESTRO FRANCISCO MARTÃNEZ BERNAL: water entry into a children's class.
CEIP TIERNO GALVÁN: plates of various kinds have come off.
CEIP EL SIFÓN: the street has been cut and for the transport students it has been very difficult to access the center.
CEIP SAN ANTONIO: different leaks in dependencies of the center.
