The Mayor of the municipality, Esther Clavero, the Acting Secretary of State for Infrastructures, Pedro Saura, the Government Delegate, Francisco Jiménez, the Minister of Agriculture, Antonio Luengo, and councilors of the government team have accompanied him on his visit

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, together with councilors of the Government team and the rest of the Municipal Corporation, has accompanied, on Saturday, September 14, the acting Minister of Agriculture, Luis Planas, on her visit to the areas affected by floods in the municipality.

The Delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia, Francisco Jiménez, the Secretary of State for Infrastructures, Pedro Saura, and the Minister of Agriculture, Antonio Luengo, also attended.

Authorities and officials of Local Police, National Police and Civil Protection have moved from the Molinense City Council to three of the most damaged areas: the Barrio de Santa Rita-Balsa del Lino, the La Ribera and La Torrealta orchard, and the bridge that communicates the municipality with the neighboring town of Alguazas. From there they have been able to verify the damages caused in agricultural plantations and houses, as well as in rural roads and highways.

For its part, the Molinense City Council continues with the work of cleaning mud and stones on rural roads and local roads in various areas of the municipality, both in the Campo de Molina and in the districts of the Huerta de Molina.

Today, a specialized animal rescue company is also incorporated into the work to rescue those animals that are still trapped by water in these orchard areas.

As for the people evacuated to the CIFEA of Molina de Segura, about 35 people are still staying there this morning.
