The Department of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura, in order to promote, support and channel the creative and cultural work of young people, has called the CREARTE Young Artistic Creation Contest 2019, as reported by the Councilor for Youth, Soledad Nortes Navarro.
In its third edition, CREARTE establishes the following modalities: music, literature, plastic, short and documentary arts, photography and, as a novelty this year, wall painting.
Young people can participate, collectively or individually, between the ages of 14 and 35 (as of December 31, 2019), born or who prove their residence in the Region of Murcia.
The budget for this edition amounts to 18,000 euros.
Likewise, the following awards are established for each modality:
Music: a first prize of € 1,200, two second prizes of € 500 each, and a local prize of € 500.
Literature: in story a first prize of € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400 are established;
and in poetry a first prize of € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400 are established.
Photography: a first prize: € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
Visual arts: a first prize of € 1,000, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400 are established.
Shorts and documentaries: a first prize of € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
Wall painting: a first prize of € 700, a second prize of € 400 and a local prize of € 400.
The inscriptions will be formalized until next October 11, 2019, by any of the following ways: at the headquarters of the Department of Youth (in Calle Mayor, No. 81, El Retén Building, 1st floor, from 08.00 to 3 pm);
from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on the phone 968 388 681;

and in the General Register of the City of Molina de Segura.
The Department of Youth will hold an exhibition of Photography and Plastic Arts with the awarded and non-awarded selected works.
In the music modality he will organize a concert with the finalist groups to award the prizes.
As well as a public screening of the winners and selected in shorts and documentaries.
