The Department of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura organizes the exhibition IDENTIDAD Y AZAR, of Ewha, in the Exhibition Hall of the Young Artistic Creation Space (in Avenida de Madrid, n ° 68).
The opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m., and the exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., until October 4.
EWHA is a young Molinense who opts for Visual Art.
He studied the degree of Fine Arts at the University of Murcia, where he obtained honorable mention and during the third year he moved to Granada in a timely manner, with a SICUE scholarship, to learn about new artistic methodologies.
He has participated in workshops of artists from different fields, such as urban art or performance, and in various projects such as murals, graphic designs, editorials, audiovisuals or musicals.
He has also completed a course, such as the National Engraving Course (University of Jaén).
From the beginning he has been interested in working with drawing, automatism and abandoned spaces, because he believes they are a direct way to connect and finally understand their surroundings.
He likes to create images that evoke rare ideas or situations, to arouse alternative emotions in the viewer and tries to find out, through artistic practices, the plastic and graphic possibilities offered by a state of identity search.
For this, this author has made an exploration, both theoretical and practical, through the concepts that suggest this type of search, as well as the set of artistic manifestations, belonging in the first instance to the twentieth century, which relate to the random and the spontaneous
In de nitiva, these artistic proposals arise that have to do with the idea of ​​chance and identity and that are linked to a Dadaist aesthetic and a mixed, improvised use of materials and where immediacy prevails.
The title of the exhibition, Identity and Random, comes from the concepts he considered during his Final Degree Project.
In this he talked about the creative crisis as an engine to generate projects.
Frequently, the Crisis concept evoked the idea of ​​Identity, and Random presented itself as a valid tool to build a new beginning and as a tool of certain avant-garde movements (nowadays obsolete), and always approaching a contemporary thought and a transversal doing.
