The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, has inaugurated, today, Thursday, August 22, the Vial de Las Salinas with which the Altorreal Urbanization is provided with a direct connection with the A-30 motorway in the Albacete direction and with The RM-A5 road without the need for vehicles to pass through several streets of the urban center of Molina de Segura, which will alleviate the intense traffic that until now was recorded at certain times in those streets.
The opening ceremony of the road and its subsequent opening to road traffic has also been attended by the Councilor for Promotion and Economic Strategy, José de Haro González, the Councilor for Public Roads and Municipal Works, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, the Councilor for Urban Planning, Julia Fernández Castro, the President of the Urban Development Entity for the Conservation of Altorreal, Almudena Aguado Hernández, and the Delegate Administrator of the commercial "Area of ​​Service Las Salinas, SL", José Eloy Jiménez Gambín.
The road has meant the conditioning of a 5 meter wide dirt road that existed in the area and acted as a support for a sewage collector.
The aforementioned road connected the entrance through the southwest to the Altorreal urbanization with a short stretch of road that led to the roundabout that connects the A-30 motorway with the regional road RM-A5.
The path of the road coincided with a road planned in the PGMO of approximately 675 meters in length.
The width of the road has allowed to establish only one direction of movement, since the implementation of a double direction would imply the need to expand the existing platform.
The direction of circulation of the road is from Altorreal towards the roundabout of connection with the A-30 motorway, thus responding to neighborhood demands.
The works have consisted of the adaptation of the existing embankment, the execution of a firm, its paving adapted to the planned traffic and the installation of lighting, signaling and the corresponding marking.
This action, carried out by the company Desarrollos Técnicos del Levante, SL, went out to tender for an amount of 272,000, although it ended up being awarded for 199,855.50 euros, of which 50,000 euros have been contributed, through sponsorship and patronage agreement, for the Mercantile Area of ​​Service Las Salinas, SL
