In addition, the special security measures that will be implemented during the Fiestas de Molina 2019 have been announced.

As reported by the Councilor for Citizen Security, Julia Rosario Fernández Castro, the data provided by the National Police Corps indicate that during the last year the downward trend of criminal offenses in Molina de Segura continues, with figures that remain below National and regional average.

Fernández Castro has specified that, although in this mentioned period there have been some peaks of criminal acts, the joint work of National Police and Local Police, made it possible that "the two episodes of robberies committed in urbanizations have concluded with the dentition of the alleged criminals who had committed them. "

The mayor of Molinense has also shown the existing concern regarding the so-called "careless theft", mainly focused on the theft of mobile phones, and Internet scams.

In this sense, Fernández Castro, has advanced that information and awareness campaigns are being prepared among the middle-aged population, since these types of actions are carried out periodically between children and adults.

Mayor Esther Clavero has conveyed a message of tranquility to the public and has insisted that the objective of the local administration is "to work for greater security and a greater sense of security", something that is achieved by betting, she said, "by more material means, such as the new vehicles presented recently, and the increase of the staff of the Local Police with ten new ends that will allow to have ten more agents, and of course, working with the Government Delegation to that the National Police Station can have more agents. "

That increase became a reality last May with ten new agents, and now in summer with eight more agents in practice.

Another issue addressed in the Local Security Board has been the campaign to prevent orchards and theft of fruit in the field and the orchard, launched last April, and which is being developed without significant incidents.

This campaign consists of intensifying surveillance in the aforementioned areas and surroundings through police patrols every day and in all service shifts, from Monday to Sunday, since in these collection dates there is a greater movement of people and vehicles , both in the field and in the garden.

For its part, the Councilor for Citizen Security, Julia Rosaura Fernández Castro, has indicated that the Local Security Board has also addressed the Security Plan for the 2019 Patron Saint Festivities, which are held in the town from August 31 to September 16 .

This plan is structured in three large blocks: citizen security, (with 100% of the Local Police and National Police templates);

special traffic device, with street cuts and deterrent parking lots;

and citizen information campaign for self-protection measures, especially for minors.

In addition, the Firefighting Consortium will ensure the safety of the neighbors, in addition to having the resources provided by the 112 Emergency Service of the Region of Murcia, Civil Protection of Molina de Segura and Red Cross Regional Assembly.

Once the Local Security Board of Molina de Segura was completed, a meeting was held with pedáneos and representatives of the urban entities of the town in which the Mayor, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Julia Rosario Fernández Castro, They have reported on the topics discussed.
