The inauguration of the sculpture Mirada, made by the artist Anabel del Canto Rodríguez, and promoted by the Molina de Segura Town Council, will take place today, Wednesday, July 3, at 9:00 p.m., at the Las Salinas roundabout (at the existing roundabout at the entrance to the urban nucleus from Highway RM-A5 and Highway A-30).
Attending the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the artist herself.
The municipality of Molinense has invested 89,377.85 euros in this new artistic work.

According to the author of the sculpture, Anabel del Cano (http://anabeldelcanto.com), "in a look you can see much more than the eyes, in its depth you can find many meanings, sensations and feelings." "The circle closes on itself and therefore represents unity, the absolute, perfection and is a harmoniously friendly way to the environment.In it, the piece that comes out of the earth, generates in an interior an empty space that it allows us to observe through it the landscape that surrounds it, giving us different points of view as it passes around it.
The sculpture projected for that space of passage, of confluence of communications, captures the meeting point of entry and exit, the daily confluence of this environment and meeting point of people who are left to share trips ".
The Mirada sculpture weighs 14,580 kg and is made of chemically patterned and strutted carbon steel, with special two-component exterior paint.
