The City of Molina de Segura, through the Municipal Office of Companies, visited, yesterday Thursday, June 27, the Molinerian company Ability Diseño Gráfico, SL, located on the Calle Jamaica of the La Serreta Este Business Area, to congratulate it on the occasion of Obtaining several prizes.
The meeting was attended by the Councilor for Economic Promotion and Strategy, José de Haro González, accompanied by the head of the Municipal Office of Companies, Santiago Pastor Palazón, and the President of ASECOM, Eloy Jiménez Gambín, who were served by businessmen José and Pedro López Martínez and Juana García Torrano.
After obtaining the National Award of the IV Edition of Ramón Sayans on March 27 by FESPA Spain, Prize for the best digital printing in rigid support, the firm went directly to position itself for the prestigious FESPA AWARDS 2019 held in Munich, with more of 300 international experts in communication and printing.
The work awarded with the Silver Prize or second world prize, was the cutting edge cardboard display of the Sylvanian Families client made in ABIPLEX, material patented by the Molinense company.
The company occupies an area of ​​3,500 m2 in the La Serreta Este business area, and its journey began in 1985 on the main street of the city.
From there, he moved to Calle Bailén as J. García Torrano and Otros CB, until in 1992 he moved to Calle Uruguay in the same business area, as ARTEGRAF SL.
In the year 2002 he moved again to his current location, already as Ability Diseño Gráfico SL.
Since then, the facilities have undergone several renovations, and this year they will be modified again to improve their distribution.
Currently has a regular staff of 34 employees, very young middle ages, recovering and taking advantage of talent.
In 2018 the company billed a value of 2.4 million euros, and in 2019 it plans to grow to 3 million thanks to its continuous search of markets, customers and new products.
The group relies on the technology of HP and Esko, creating an exclusive and innovative PLV.
Thanks to his experience in the world of corrugated cardboard, and the complexity of transforming it into pieces with quality graphic communication, the managers of Ability began to think of new alternatives, such as corrugated cardboard similar to the honeycomb, inventing and patenting the Abiplex, a material with multiple possibilities for visual communication and in the advertising sector in the place of sale.
It is a versatile and innovative cardboard material, composed of raw materials derived from cellulose, manufactured entirely in Spain.
Abiplex is used, above all, to produce permanent and semi-permanent signs, replacing certain metal, metallic and wooden structures that are expensive and take a lot of assembly and maintenance work.
It provides key aspects such as robustness, ease of assembly and adaptability.
Recent additions, such as the HP Scitex 11000 digital printing press, with a simultaneous up to four-sheet vacuum and printing system, or the Kongsberg C64 digital cutting table with Esko feeder, Ability stands out from its competitors, focusing on innovation and value added.
It has expanded markets and is preparing its international leap.
Ability offers its clients a complete service, which ranges from the conception and design of the product to its final finish.
In short, Ability responds to the need for short runs of pieces in corrugated cardboard (microchannel, double micro and channel B and C), foam board, cellular polypropylene, foam, vinyl and, of course, Abiplex, which is its flagship product , in short or medium runs, with the possibility of personalization thanks to the latest industrial production technology in the hands of the best professionals.
The City of Molina de Segura wanted to congratulate the firm personally, while offering the full services of the Office of Companies, municipal business service.
Likewise, he has offered his mediation when it comes to expanding facilities, giving him concrete solutions and managing other pending procedures.
From this visit, some commitments have been made regarding administrative attention, as well as future mutual collaborations.
