The candidate of Citizens to Molina de Segura City Council, María Dolores García, has committed to audit public services, accounts and hiring from the local Consistory.
"It will be one of our first measures when we govern in the City Council because we need to know the effectiveness and efficiency of the management carried out by the last municipal governments;

In this sense, García believes that in a municipality such as Molina de Segura that exceeds 70,000 inhabitants, and whose population is experiencing permanent growth, it is essential to rationalize costs and ensure efficient management of resources, with the aim of lowering taxes.
In this sense, García has indicated that he will perform actions such as reviewing the cadastral bases that apply to certain taxes such as the IBI or the IVTM, "in order to boost local businesses and contribute to economic growth and job creation in the municipality. "
Also, the orange training candidate intends to carry out an in-depth study on the amount of public fees paid in Molina de Segura.
"Our municipality is the sixth most expensive in the Region of Murcia in terms of public rates.
In 2017, each inhabitant of Molina de Segura paid an average of 120 euros in public rates and prices, when the regional average was 73 euros per person. Our objective is that this difference be reduced considerably because we believe that where money is better is in the pocket of our neighbors. "
The orange training candidate has also committed to inform all citizens of the fate of each euro that enters and leaves the municipal coffers "in a clear, understandable and detailed manner.
We will also improve efficiency in the collection of municipal taxes by facilitating the use of electronic means, and actively and forcefully fighting against evasion and fraud ".
