Hospital de Molina presents several projects and studies in the 21 National Congress of Hospitals and Health Management (09/05/2019)

The theatrical show "#ADosBandas: dieticians-nutritionists and pediatricians united to prevent excess weight in childhood", organized by the Hospital de Molina and My Personal Food last October, has been presented at the 21 National Congress of Hospitals and Sanitary Management, which is being held until tomorrow in Santiago de Compostela.

Kaizen Project on Evaluation and improvement of security in the Hospital, which has been developed since 2017 using LEAN methodology, with the aim of improving the personal safety of professionals and users.

The Director of Management of the hospital center, José Ibáñez Hernández, explained that the LEAN methodology allows a structured evaluation of the problems and their solution through multidisciplinary improvement teams.

Study on Safety in the use of morphine.

Post-surgical pain control, performed in the 2016-2017 period, in the specialty of Traumatology, whose main objective is to reduce the use of morphine and improve the pain cycle by using a "pain analgesia procedure".

The Director of Nursing Hospital Molina, Elena Ródenas Martínez, explained that after the implementation of this procedure in 2017 there was a decrease in the use of step III analgesia, preferably using analgesia of step I (WHO analgesic scale) .
