The councils of Youth and Citizen Participation of the City of Molina de Segura launch the activities of the Participatory Youth Budgets 2019, arising from the process of participation with young people that took place in 2018. The presentation ceremony took place today, Wednesday 27 March, and was assisted by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the First Deputy Mayor and Youth Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, and the person in charge of Criptic Escape Room, Juan Jose Lax Cano.
The participatory process, which starts again with students of Secondary Education of the municipality, is aimed at promoting a democratic and participatory culture among the youngest from an experience of youth participation in the framework of participatory budgeting, favoring an approach to the processes of youth participation in the youth of Molinense, between 12 and 16 years.
The activities that are derived from the participatory process with young people, and which are presented today, are: a night color race, with the theme Colors for equality, to be held on Saturday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the Plaza from Spain;
the Zombie Infection event, on Saturday, May 11;
and an Escape Room, on days 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 of May.
The inscriptions can be made through the web www.molinadesegura.es/juventud and, personally, in the Youth Council, in the El Retén Building.
The registration period for Colors for Equality begins on Friday, March 29, at 12:00 noon;
while for Zombie Infection and Escape Room the term begins on Wednesday, March 27.
All activities are aimed at young people aged 12 to 25 who live, study or work in Molina de Segura.
The places are limited and free.
The Race of Colors Night Colors for equality will feature animation, music with Dj, storms of color and many surprises to make it a unique experience of vitality, commitment and joy.
The color race is not competitive and suitable for all audiences, whatever their physical form. The general entrance is included, shirt, bag of colored powders, bracelet and backpack.
To participate, it is mandatory to wear the shirt and the official back of the event, which can be collected on Friday, April 12 in the afternoon and Saturday, April 13 in the morning, in the Participation Space La Nueva 19 (in Calle Nueva, n ° 19). 1,000 young people participate
The Zombie Infection event is a great game in which there are 350 participants, 25 zombies and actors.
It develops through the streets of the center of Molina de Segura.
Some players make survivors and pass various tests in different places, and other zombies, who try to catch the other participants.
In this case, the inscriptions are made in person at the Youth Council.
Children under 16 need parental authorization.
The Escape Room activity is performed in Molina de Segura and has 200 seats available.
It is a game that will be performed in groups of 8 people, who in an hour have to solve the tests that are proposed to be able to leave the space and win the game.
